The festival-ready indie group share their new single ahead of their forthcoming second album ‘Outside Of The Blue’.
‘People Should Know Better’ comes at the right time for listeners to resonate with the fiery lyrics.
Frontman Johnny Quinn, describes the track as: “A critique of the UK government and how they’ve handled the country in the last couple years; people are becoming racist, the government is incompetent and now people are dying.”
The indie track features the frustrations and disappointment from a society affected by the actions of their government.
The four-piece Liverpudlian band worked with producer Tom longworth (Spector and BLOXX) at the Parr Street Studios in Liverpool. Lead vocalist Johnny and bass player Sean McLachlan, worked together to produce most of their lyrics.
They drew inspiration from Johnny’s new found love in meditation and mindfulness over the last 18 months.
It was used toward their new album featuring 11 tracks with a mixture of melancholy in juxtaposition with the other half being full of hope.
