Urbanista’s Tapes Off The Track is a series of live recordings of local music talent, filmed in some of Merseyside’s most idyllic settings, with the aim of capturing the magic of our chosen artists in their purest, most stripped back form. Here is a session from Cal Ruddy:
Cal Ruddy is a 22 year old Singer/Songwriter who’s talents have seen him take over the Liverpool unsigned music scene in his short two year career. 2017 has seen Ruddy gain airplay on BBC Radio Merseyside, Radio City and not to mention flying out to Italy & Nashville to promote his music. His vintage sound, particularly his honest, passionate vocal at times emits haunting waves of early Lennon. The love for his craft pours into the audience through memorable melodies and a twinkle in his eye
