Reggae and general music fans should be delighted to learn that the legendary Horace Andy is performing in Liverpool at District on Friday 1st September 2017.
Perhaps best known in the UK for his collaborations with Massive Attack, he has an impressive back catalogue with hits such as “Skylarking”, “Just Say Who”, “Don’t Try To Use Me”, “You Are My Angel”, “Zion Gate”, “I’ve Got to Get Away”.
Often described as “The Sweetest Voice in Jamaica” he is supported by Mafia & Fluxy ft. Matic Horns and the Positive Vibration DJs.
Positive Vibration, who are behind the night, have had an impressive year having already put on Big Youth, and having Benjamin Zephaniah coming up in October, as well as the monthly Reggae Social at District, supporting Beat and Selecter in December, and of course the well received Positive Vibration Festival, nominated for 5 awards.
