LFC’s most popular matchday pub adds another string to their bow with 19 hotel rooms to be based above the venue.
The timeless pub is the heart of the local community, and has been recently refurbished. With local entrepreneur, Kate Stewart at the helm, the venue has been going from strength to strength.
Kate had this to say:
“We are excited to have received the planning permission for our hotel, now its all systems go to get it ready. 2500 people come to each home game and some of the lucky ones will now be staying with us for the first time ever”
The Sandon has a long history with LFC having been the pub that birthed both Everton and Liverpool FC. The Sandon also boasts 5 different function rooms as well as bars that run into double figures.
An absolute must-stay for Football fans, the history of LFC, is proudly displayed around the complex for the fans and guests to learn more about the famous venue and it’s historic links.
As well as the new rooms, and the already established meeting rooms and bars, the revamped complex also runs events and entertainment which are popular with the local community.
Kate added:
“Now we have bedrooms it makes the whole venue so much more diverse, we can now host mini-retreats, murder mystery events, sleepover parties as well as our usual weddings, christenings, baby showers, funerals and corporate events.”
