Liverpool five-piece The Heavy North kicked off 2022 with the release of brand new single Satisfy You – the  fourth track taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Electric Soul Machine ahead of the scheduled  released in March 2022.

The unannounced single was released at midnight on New Years Eve, and Satisfy You follows the band’s 2021  releases Darkness In Your Eyes (April), No Good (July) and Awake (October)

“Satisfy You is a song about the negative side of social media and the internet, like online trolls and keyboard  warriors” says frontman Kenny Stuart. “It’s about those people who intentionally put others down or pass  judgement from behind a screen”.

Speaking about The Heavy North’s upcoming album Electric Soul Machine, Kenny explained “We’ve had a  fantastic response to the last few singles we’ve released from our album, and due to the global delay in vinyl  manufacturing we’ve had to delay Electric Soul Machine by a couple of months”

On Christmas Day the band shared a private preview link to their upcoming debut album with those fans who  pre-ordered the album on 12″ vinyl or CD.

We wanted to give everyone who helped us make our album the opportunity to hear it before the release in  March, and we received some great comments from people who were listening to our album on Christmas Day  which was brilliant” said Kenny.

The Heavy North were recently championed by Scottish actor and new music fan Robert Carlyle OBE who  described the garage blues five-piece as a “top, top band”.

The band also played a handful of UK headline shows in October & November including their first appearance  in London at The Fiddler in Kilburn where they met veteran promoter and venue owner Vince Power.

“It’s been another difficult year for live music but we’re grateful to those who came out to our recent shows,  and especially those who have supported our debut album” said Kenny.

“We hope our new single Satisfy You bridges the gap between the New Year and when our album finally  arrives in March 2022”

‘Satisfy You’ is OUT NOW on all download and streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music,  Bandcamp and YouTube
