The band have released their defiant new track ‘Stuck In the City’ along with their unique music video showcasing life in London.

After being signed by the legendary Alan McGhee on his It’s Creation Baby label, the band released their latest post/rock single.

It illustrates the sad reality of how capitalism has consumed us all.

We are all entrapped in a digital world finding our happiness through social media and consuming drugs.

The band said: “That’s when you start feeling stuck, the idea of your life and the continuous bombardment with advertisement, that sells you an empty stimulus of happiness.”

The band use their alt/rock music to delve in to the rawness of real life.

The Gulps official music video is a dedication to the city that attracted them to all come to the UK.

The Gulps said: “We wanted to show a bit of the life in the city, so we thought Soho was a great place as there are so many different contrasts around there. At night especially is when you can see many different and extravagant people.

“We love that aspect of London but we also think that’s where there is a lot of inequality between people’s lifestyles, with an omnipresent capitalism that they can forget by getting drunk and taking drugs, diving into a digital life.”

Camden town is where most of their creativity flowed at their shared apartment.

They wrote their songs through lockdown to make up their exciting LP, which is expected soon.

Their music has already impressed the likes of the iconic Noel Gallagher.

Since only forming in 2019 and dealing with a life through lockdown, the band emerged bigger and better than before.

They’ve already turned heads to their music such as, Steve Lamacq who has been supporting them on BBC 6 Music.

The band are now on their 2021/2022 tour where fans can hear their rage against the injustices.

You can find the location and dates on their Facebook page if you want to see their masterclass in rocknroll.
