HiFi Sean to DJ at new club night in Liverpool

HiFi Sean is to DJ at the launch of a new club night presented by Four to the Floor, at District on February 3rd.

If you haven’t heard of HiFi Sean yet then I suggest you stop what you’re doing and seek out his album “ft” immediately!  As the name suggests, it’s a an album of collaborations  – which has lots of big names on board such as Crystal Waters, Fred Schneider (B52s) and Yoko Ono to name but 3, and practically every track on the album is an absolute party banger!

Whilst it’s not clear whether he will be performing any of his own material, regardless if he has the ear to produce music like that then his DJ set should be sensational.

With recent summer appearances at DEFECTED festival in Croatia and GLITTERBOX appearances both in Ibiza and London playing along side Louie Vega, Jellybean Benitez , Roger sanchez and Basement Jaxx , This will be his first performance in Liverpool.

Also on the bill is Liverpool’s own Derek Kaye who has been working dancefloors since the 70s from the early funk and soul through disco, jazz funk, electronica, through to house and back and everything in between, and even though his roots are from the soul/funk and disco era he includes a far wider spectrum in his diversity of sets and will often shift gears through various genres and described in the press as a musical paragon, someone who has mastered the art of working a dance floor without disappearing in his own agenda!

Cited by the legendary Greg Wilson as the person who was instrumental and influential in starting his own illustrious DJ career.

Other guest DJs include Jimmy Allen, Steve Froggatt, Micheal Williams  and Kooky

Paper Tickets avaliable – 3beat, So Coco Rouge, Jimmy Allen, Kelly Ensor, Beth Karaski.
