Fiesta Bombarda announce birthday celebration in Liverpool’s Williamson Tunnels

Following two nights of sold-out carnival action at Sefton Park’s Palm House, Fiesta Bombarda have announced they will be returning to Liverpool for an intimate show in the Williamson Tunnels to celebrate their birthday on Saturday 1st June 2019.

Fiesta Bombarda is a vibrant event that travels across the UK, taking some of the biggest names in Reggae, Afrobeat, Jungle, Dub and Brass to the best venues and most unique spaces they can think of. Whether it’s a Cathedral carnival or Palm House party, they aim to blur the line between the live music and club scene by combining bands, set design, visuals, interactive stalls and an all-round festival-esque experience.

Headlining this special one-off show will be the 9-strong Manchester troupe Riot Jazz Brass Band. Comprised of three trumpets, three trombones, drums, sousaphone, the group is fronted by the prodigious MC Chunky. Drawing from Jazz, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, Balkan, Trap, Grime, Dubstep, Latin and Classical,  the band write and play whatever their hearts desire. The same goes for their trademark covers which range from Britney to Bon Jovi, Shaggy to Blink 182.

Keeping the tunnels bouncing through the night will be DJ sets from Fiesta favourites , Rubeer Dub, Positve Vibration, Buddha, Boogaloo, Humble Abode and Down To Funk. This special birthday celebration is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Palm House carnivals and sell-out quickly.

This 7th Birthday Carnival kicks off at 8pm and parties on into the early hours – don’t delay and grab your tickets now via Skiddle.
