Dr Orange’s debut single ‘Comes in Threes‘
‘Laid back apocalyptic glamour’ With an apocalyptic air, it’s certainly a song for the times. A throbbing guitar rift straight out of a lost boys soundtrack feeds the shadowy fraught vocals. Intermittently the simple yet effective chorus opens up to let the organ make hay, before making way for what soon becomes that comforting growling riff which will have ‘guitar hero’ enthusiasts licking their lips. A song that keeps driving forward and stands the test of repeated listening. From the school of shadow puppets, if DR ORANGE do indeed deliver in threes then they have a bright future indeed.
