Erasure, of course require no introduction – with an enviable back catalogue and legendary upbeat live performance, anybody lucky enough to have secured a ticket for the sell-out show, is in for a treat.
You may be less familiar however with Bright Light Bright Light, aka Welsh born Singer-Songwriter Rod Thomas, but be sure to get there early enough to catch him as he’s an inspired choice of support act, who I’ve no doubt will be headlining in his own right before long.
I first saw Rob perform many years ago when he was gigging as “The Rod Thomas Band”, it was clear from the start that he was incredibly talented. Shining like a beacon, grabbing the attention of everyone in the room, it was inevitable that he was destined for great things. His growing list of fans include one Reg Dwight, better known as Elton John! He was so impressed that he even supplied vocals on this track:
