Biography:
Mel Maryns’ real name is Melissa Marins, but since she was little everyone used to call her “Mel” as nickname all the time. So, she decided to change a little bit her second name by adding a “y” to “Marins” and it turned out “Mel Maryns. Mel Maryns is a singer/songwriter/producer/pianist and lives in Cork, Ireland. Mel Maryns is 17 years old.
Mel has been singing since she was a little kid, her dad used to play guitar and there was always music in the house, they used to always sing together and she always had this really good feeling when she used to sing as if that was her destiny. Knowing that, she started writing her own original songs, Mel learned how to play the piano by teaching herself and watching videos on YouTube.
In 2018 Mel decided to take a big step on her career as she started Busking on the streets of Saint Patrick’s Street, Cork and Grafton street, Dublin. The first time Mel sang on the streets, she realised that singing is her passion.
She recently released 3 singles
“Someone to Hold”, “Burning Flames” and “Get Away” on Spotify and all other music platforms. She started getting a lot of views on her songs as they are not like any other Pop Music nowadays. Mel is growing very fast as she has a unique style.
Mel wishes she was born in the 80s. She’s inspired by artists like Guns and Roses, Skid Row, Evanescence and just wants the world to hear her music and inspire people.

My big plan for this year is to try bringing more comfort to people during these difficult times by connecting people with my music. I recently released 3 singles in English

I started getting a lot of views on my songs as they are not like any other Pop Music nowadays. I am growing very fast as I have a unique style.
