Melon Yellow Festival broadcast in March with first acts announced.

Designed as a celebration of Shoegaze, Punk, Arts & Sustainability. The Melon Yellow programme aim is to test the best sounds in a live environment accompanied by a full sensory experience, across food, drink and the visual arts.  Melon Yellow’s first transmission will be broadcast on March 14th at the Invisible Wind Factory in Liverpool.

The festival is incredibly proud to reveal RIDE as headliners of it’s inaugural event. One of the leading lights of the 90s shoegaze scene are joined by a wealth of talent including TURNOVER, THE REGRETTES, Lauren Hibberd, St Martiins and Newmoon. Tickets on sale Friday 10am Many more artists will be revealed soon.

RIDE, the defining act of the shoegaze scene and signed to Creation Records in 1989 reformed in 2014. Comprised of Andy Bell, Mark Gardener, Loz Colbert, and Steve Queralt, the band sold out headline tours around the world to a plethora of critical acclaim, as well as show stopping turns at festivals including Coachella, Primavera and Field Day and will be headlining this one day event in March with a diverse line up from America, UK and Belgium.
