“Go Go Go” finds Katie Dauson blending retro influence with melodic immediacy in a way that feels both nostalgic and forward-facing. The track is anchored in 1960s-inspired guitar tones, but its structure and pacing lean toward modern indie sensibilities, giving it broad appeal without sacrificing identity.

The production is bright and tactile, with each instrument occupying a clearly defined space. Rather than overwhelming the listener, the arrangement builds a steady sense of motion, allowing hooks and rhythmic details to emerge naturally.

Dauson’s vocal tone is a key strength here — light, engaging, and subtly emotive. She delivers the title phrase with a rhythmic confidence that turns repetition into a hook rather than a limitation. It’s an approach that gives the track its memorable core.

Overall, “Go Go Go” is a finely balanced single that bridges eras without feeling derivative. It’s catchy, carefully constructed, and executed with a sense of charm that elevates it beyond straightforward retro homage.

“I wrote this song initially two years ago and put it on ice, because even though I liked it, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it. I finally decided to record it late last year and make it a single,” she explains.
