Fiendish Family Fun at Sefton Park Palm House this Halloween

Fiendish Family Fun at Sefton Park Palm House this Halloween

As we reach the first few dreary days of September and the kids head back to school, the whole family needs something to look forward to. Luckily, The Lantern Company, famous for their awe-inspiring arts events, have provided just the thing! Across the October half-term the beautiful Palm House in Liverpool’s Sefton Park will play host to a Monster Halloween Ball. They prepare to host three full days and nights of workshops, mini parades, dance-offs and more!

By day, little beasties of all ages are invited to come and have fun making a fabulous monster mask or create their own Lantern to join the mini Halloween Parade! Then at dusk, prepare for the Mini Monsters Party! Dressed in the best Halloween finery, young revellers can join the mini Halloween Parade around the grounds of the Palm House, before getting reading ready for the evening party. At the party, kids will be able to meet a host of incredible weird and wonderful giant puppet ‘guests’ who will light up the Palm House, rattle their bones and shake their stuff on the dancefloor! Plus, there will be lots more great Halloween fun and games, food and drink and a raffle with monstrously good prizes.

With early bird tickets starting at just £7.50 it will offer a perfect chance to engage Liverpool’s youngsters in the arts and utilise the magnificent setting of Sefton Park’s palm house for a fun-packed day of Halloween activities for all the family. The Lantern Company’s artistic director, Jo Pocock, is just as excited as the rest of and is “delighted to be returning home” for this “intimate…creative experience for families”. So, with summer firmly behind us we can all start to anticipate what is set to be The Lantern Company’s most magical event to date.
