Hushtones are one of Liverpool’s hottest new live acts, with nostalgic feels, soaring melodies and a smooth blend of male and female voices. Their take on pop music has been described as punchy and powerful with nods to Fleetwood Mac and Sunflower Bean. Fronted by Martha Goddard and Mick Campbell, the two lead songwriters, alongside Caitlin McPaul on bass and backing vocals, Joe Dillon, guitar and backing vocals, and Abraham Tesfachristos on drums.
Their music has received regular air play from BBC Music Introducing resulting in festival and live show bookings as well as an invitation to Media City to record a filmed acoustic session.
Their brand new double A-side features two tracks produced by the legendary Steve Levine in his Liverpool studio. The Birds Are Coming is a rousing and dynamic track battling with frustrations. Keep Running is a pacey and powerful song for summer. A hopeful and harmonious fist in the air.
