“Me Myself & I” feels like a bold declaration of independence. What inspired you to write this song, and what message do you hope listeners take away from it?

“Me Myself & I” was inspired by the challenges I’ve faced as an artist and the moments when people doubted that music could be a legitimate career. Throughout my journey, I’ve heard comments dismissing what I do as just a hobby or questioning if I could really make it. This song became my way of reclaiming my power and reminding myself—and others—that we have the ability to shape our own futures, no matter the opinions of others. I hope listeners find empowerment in the song and embrace their own strength, especially in the face of doubt or struggle. It’s a reminder to stay focused, work hard, and not let anyone else dictate what we can or can’t achieve.

You’ve embraced a fresh alternative pop sound with elements of liquid drum & bass. What drew you to this style, and how does it reflect where you are in your musical journey?

Transitioning into an alternative pop sound felt like a natural evolution for me as an artist, but it all started with experimentation. In the studio, my producers and I were exploring different vibes, trying out new ideas without any expectations. That’s when we stumbled on the sound that eventually became “Me Myself & I.” It was one of those magical moments where everything just clicked, and we knew we had created something special—a true banger that felt fresh and exactly right for this new direction.
This shift has not only influenced my sound but also transformed my creative process. I discovered new flows while writing and even started introducing a bit of rap into my songs, which has been so exciting. The ethereal textures and rhythmic fluidity of liquid drum & bass resonate perfectly with the themes I write about, like self-discovery, resilience, and the highs and lows of relationships. Writing to these faster tempos has pushed me to tap into a different kind of emotional intensity—it’s like channeling raw feelings into something that still makes you want to move. This sound feels like the perfect reflection of where I am right now as an artist.

Your lyrics in “Me Myself & I” are deeply empowering. How does personal growth influence your songwriting process?

Personal growth is at the core of my songwriting. Every song I write comes from a real experience or an emotion I’ve had to process, and as I evolve, so does my music. “Me Myself & I” is a direct reflection of that—it’s about learning to stand on my own, trust myself, and embrace the journey, even when it feels uncertain. When I write, I tap into moments of doubt, heartbreak, or self-discovery and turn them into something that not only helps me process those feelings but also connects with others who might be going through something similar. Growth isn’t always pretty; it comes with setbacks and struggles, but that’s what makes it so powerful. I think that raw honesty is what makes a song resonate.
With every song, I want to leave a piece of myself, but I also want listeners to hear their own stories in my lyrics. If my music can inspire someone to embrace their own strength or feel less alone, then I know I’ve done what I set out to do.

You’ve grown so much since your debut on ‘The Voice Kids’. How has your experience in the industry shaped your artistic evolution?

Being so young and stepping into the spotlight taught me resilience early on. The Voice Kids was my first taste of connecting with an audience on a larger platform. Every milestone since—touring, performing with a band, contributing to movie soundtracks, and launching my solo career—has shaped me as an artist. Along the way, I’ve learned so much about the creative and business sides of the industry, building a network of incredible collaborators who have helped shape my path. These experiences have pushed me to grow—not just vocally, but as a songwriter, performer, and person. The highs and lows of this journey have made me more intentional and authentic in my music. Looking back, those early experiences laid the foundation for the artist I am today, and they continue to inspire me to dream even bigger.

The production on this track is dynamic and layered. Can you walk us through the creative process of bringing “Me Myself & I” to life in the studio?

“Me Myself & I” came to life in such a fun and organic way. We started by creating the base of the track, setting the vibe and atmosphere we wanted. From there, I worked with my producers on the instrumentation, making sure every element felt dynamic and energetic. When it came time to write, we focused on the message—what we wanted the song to say and feel. The chorus actually started as a joke, especially the line “middle finger to the sky”—but the more we sat with it, the more we realized how perfectly it captured the energy and attitude we all had in mind. It felt bold, unapologetic, and empowering, which was exactly what we wanted the song to represent. From there, everything fell into place. The production layers built around that confidence, making sure the track felt as anthemic as the lyrics. It was one of those moments where everything just clicked, and we knew we had something special.

What’s been the most rewarding part of sharing this new chapter of your music with your fans?

The most rewarding part has been seeing how people connect with the music on a personal level. Me Myself & I is such an empowering track for me, and hearing fans say it and sing it makes them feel stronger or more confident is the best feeling. This new chapter represents so much growth for me—both as an artist and as a person—so sharing that journey and seeing it resonate with others makes it all worth it. Whether it’s through messages, live shows, or even social media interactions, knowing that my music is making an impact keeps me inspired to keep pushing forward.

With a Canadian tour and album on the horizon, how are you preparing to connect with audiences in a live setting?

I’m preparing to make these live shows a full experience—high energy, immersive, and unforgettable. I’ll be incorporating dancers, dynamic visuals, and a setlist that takes the audience on a journey. I want people to feel something when they come to my show, not just hear the music. I’m also focused on vocal endurance and stage presence to make sure every performance is as powerful as the songs themselves. And of course, I’ll be hanging around after the show to talk, take pictures, and connect with everyone—it’s all about sharing these moments together.

Your music often explores themes of self-discovery and resilience. How do you balance vulnerability and strength in your songs?

For me, vulnerability is strength. My songwriting comes from real emotions and experiences, so I don’t shy away from being honest—even when it means exposing my fears, doubts, or heartbreaks. But I always try to balance that with a sense of resilience, showing that even in the hardest moments, there’s growth and power to be found. I think that contrast is what makes a song really connect with people. Life isn’t just about being strong or struggling—it’s both, and my music reflects that. Whether it’s through lyrics, melodies, or production, I want my songs to feel raw and relatable, but also empowering, like a reminder that no matter what, you can always find your way forward.

Touring is such a big part of being an artist. What’s one thing you’re most excited about for your upcoming Canadian tour?

I’m most excited about finally connecting with my fans in person. There’s something incredibly special about performing live—feeling the energy from the crowd and seeing how they react to the music in real time. It’s an opportunity to create unforgettable moments together, and I can’t wait to share that experience with everyone on this tour. I’m also really looking forward to getting to know more of my Canadian audience and just soaking in the vibe of each city!

Lastly, what’s one fun fact about you that your fans might not know but would love to hear?

One fun fact is that I actually have a bit of a competitive side when it comes to dance! Growing up, I took a lot of dance classes and did a lot of dance competitions for almost 10 years, and I still love incorporating movement into my performances. Sometimes, when I’m rehearsing, I’ll challenge myself to nail new choreography in record time—kind of like a personal dance battle. It’s a way for me to stay sharp and have fun with it, but it also helps me bring that extra energy to the stage!
