Bluedot festival is an event combining everyone’s love for music, science and the arts for four continuous days at the famous Jodrell Bank attraction. The event runs from the 19th through to the 22nd of July 2018, accommodation is available on site as well. Meaning less travel for you!
This year the brand new Roots Stage, produced in partnership with Arts Council England and legendary Manchester venue Band on the Wall. Over three days, the Roots stage will feature stunning music from South Asia, some of the most exciting emerging urban jazz talents, and a programme of afro-caribbean grooves.

Where are we going to stay? Full weekend camping tickets are still available and start from just £169, with entry for under 5’s free. Day Tickets available from £59.75. Thursday-only tickets, for Blue Planet In Concert with The Halle – are available from £29. The boutique camping offers a vast and varied selection of luxury accommodation options for those who prefer an extra touch of comfort.
Travelling to the event is as easy as pi (bit of science and maths joke for you there). Just 30 minutes by car from Manchester City Centre, or 20 minutes by train from Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield Station. Or 10 minutes from Manchester Airport.Trains from London are direct to Macclesfield taking just 2 hours.
Finally, this year Bluedot are focusing all on sustainability. What does the mean for us? Any waste from the festival will 100% be avoiding landfills. Meaning that you’ll be attending an eco-friendly festival.
