Danny Steele to play Eckhart Tolle in new series

Fans of Eckhart Tolle and The Power Of Now will be pleased to hear his life and work is being immortalised in a series with British actor Danny Steele playing lead role Austin Bailey (who is based on Eckhart Tolle). The series ‘Connected’ has been Greenlit for this year with three season confirmations by Kodatribe and also stars Lizzy Dellabetta and Jeanne Young who has also taken on Actor/Director duties – as Jeanne says “Connected is a needed series for our times…we cast Danny as he has a strong transformative ability in his acting – being able to play this character younger and older – and also he exudes that wonderful quality that Eckhart Tolle has”
Danny has worked a lot in the UK in stage and screen and has been nominated for several awards including Best Actor for his portrayal of Clyde in ‘The Last Day’ at the LA Film Festival and Floyd in ‘Invasion Planet Earth’. He also teaches meditation and is no stranger to deep diving within his own beliefs and spiritual side, citing Eckhart Tolle’s book ‘The Power of Now’ and ‘A New Earth’ as two of his most inspirational books.
Danny says “Connected was a project born out of Covid, and the need that people more then ever are seeking genuine and authentic connection in a time when we remain away from our friends and community..Covid has given everything the permission to seek a little deeper into themselves..this series will start from when Eckhart started teaching and holding spiritual meetings in Glastonbury, England, moving back and forth from the UK and Canada and go right up until meeting and working with Oprah and writing A New Earth”
Danny is also slated to play a lead role in the upcoming film ‘Pam Snatcher’ which also stars Shailene Woodley – Shailene was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in ‘Big Little Lies’.
