Throughout the Christmas period, Craft Taproom are hosting a series of exciting events to get their visitors in the festive spirit.
Just a few months old but building a solid reputation for incredible beer, delicious spirits and cocktails, the new venue on Liverpool’s Smithdown Road is ending the year in style with Christmas markets, live music, great food & a New Year’s Eve party.
Manager, Andy Scott highlights the significance of this year’s celebrations, saying, ‘It’s our first ever Christmas and New Year, so we are putting every effort into making it the best possible for all of our customers’.
Friday, 8th December, sees the Craft Taproom Xmas Party take place (7pm til late), with games, food, live music and of course, Santa’s Grotto. The festivities continue on Saturday 9th December with Goth Christmas, an alternative art exhibition and market from midday til late, with live DJ sets to match. Then on Sunday 10th December, Craft welcomes the ultimate Christmas Market, with plenty of festive cheer, mulled cider and all the stocking fillers you’ll need from midday til 4pm.
Amidst all of the Christmas celebrations, a brand new vinyl night, Plastic Fantastic, will be taking place on Friday 15th December. This exciting event comes from the minds of Peter Martin (Howl at the Moon) and Stephen Lewin (Big Safari/MINCEMEAT) and takes place 8pm til late. The venue will also play host to DEATH HAGS, bringing their fuzzy doom pop all the way from L.A., with support from local indie pop legends VOO, performing a stripped back set on Saturday 16th December. Finally, to welcome the new year, Craft Taproom will be hosting their very own New Year’s Eve Party on Sunday 31st December, with live music & DJs til late.
