Hot!

Coffee? Ditto.

Coffee? Ditto.

Jamaica Street just got cooler with the launch of Ditto Coffee.

With an emphasis on quality coffee and Music, Ditto Coffee have come to Jamaica Street, with their array of delicious coffees, all served from their Marzocco coffee machine, as well as fresh food and cakes.

Ditto is just a short walk from Liverpool One and in the Bohemiam Baltic triangle. The small, cosy, unit has a ‘Metropolitan inspired’ Wall of Fame featuring The Coral, Echo and the Bunnymen and some Ditto artists, such as Katie Mac, who wowed the crowds on their launch night. A library of musical books is upstairs and an artist drop box  out front, for musicians to pitch their music and potentially play in the shop!

Lee and Matt Parsons are the owners of Ditto Music, who have their HQ on Parliament Street, as well as an office in Melbourne, Australia. Ditto Music aims to empower musicians to get their own music out in the Public Domain, a record label in a box to allow artists to create their own labels and keep their own royalties. Lee and Matt also love the coffee scene down under and wanted to recreate it back here, so much so that they decided to combine Coffee with their current business Ditto Music and so Ditto Coffee was born.

Urbanista spoke to Natasha Murphy, who is the operations director, she has a strong history in hospitality over the years and has used her transferable skills and passion for both Coffee and Music to help create Ditto’s vibe across the country.
